Library

The RV College of Architecture library is a comprehensive resource centre for students and faculty, supporting a wide range of academic activities with well-stocked collections in Planning Architecture, Landscape, Conservation and all allied fields of architecture. The library is equipped with extensive computer and electronic facilities to aid teaching, learning, and research.

Key features include:

  • Extensive Collections: A vast array of books and documents in architecture and all allied fields of architecture.
  • Subscription Resources: Access to 81 print and e-journals, including databases such as JSTOR (with over 2065 archived e-journals) and India Stat (a comprehensive e-resource for socio-economic statistical information about India).
  • Additional e-Resources: Availability of World eBook Library, South Asia Archive, ISID resources, and V-IDEO.
  • Remote Access: Off-campus access to electronic resources for convenience.
  • Library OPAC: Online Public Access Catalogues (OPAC) for searching databases of books, theses/dissertations, new additions, and check-outs. The Web-OPAC is accessible on the intranet within the School campus.

Exhibition and Material Museum: This exhibition hall measures 180 square metres and displays the works of all students of all semesters in all the subjects. It displays models, and sheets, and encourages students to explore and learn from the award-winning entries. Each semester assignments of all subjects are displayed in the museum.
