The Scientific Symposium is a platform of discussion in the form of Conference as well as a brainstorming session in the domain of heritage conservation conducted by the National body but open for global audience. The Annual Scientific Symposium 2022-2023 organised jointly by ICOMOS INDIA and RV College of Architecture with a theme titled “Journey of 75years: Understanding Spatial Transformation through the lens of Built Heritage Conservation” : ICOMOS INDIA’s initiative of capturing this discourse through the lens of built heritage conservation has the potential of amplifying discussions among peers and professionals. It is within this context that the Scientific Symposium hosted by the RV College of Architecture, Bangalore as ICOMOS INDIA’s institutional member from South Zone would create a platform for dialogues in future. This may work together, creating an inclusive pedagogy towards understanding the built environment, transformation and its agencies and change in a more cohesive manner. The Conference has received 79 abstracts from different countries and 40 selected abstracts was presented during the scientific symposium.
