Physical Education
The Department of Physical Education and Sports Science at RV College of Architecture serves as a vital and integral part of the student’s life in campus. Students are provided the content and instruction designed to develop motor skills, knowledge, and behavior for physical activity and fitness. This is instrumental in building up the ability and confidence to be physically active for one’s life time.
RV College of Architecture is grateful to the management for providing ground facilities and support for participation in competitions like VTU Inter-collegiate, State and National level invitation tournaments.
To provide facilities for sports and games, train students to achieve success in sports and encourage students and faculty to lead a healthy life.
The Faculty in-charge
Mr. Puneeth H. K. holds a Master’s degree in Physical Education (M. Ped.) from University of Mysore, Mysuru (2014-15) and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B. Ped.) from University of Mysore, Mysuru (2012-13). He has more than 8 years of coaching and teaching experience in this profession. He has attended State, National and International seminars on Physical Education and been awarded certificates. He has participated in National, State and Inter-University level cricket tournaments and has been rewarded with medals and certificates. He has experience in training KCSA and club level professional cricket players. He has been nominated as a RGUHS and VTU Basketball team coach/ manager for South India Inter-University tournaments, and has also been nominated as a VTU men and women karate team coach for All India Inter-University Championship.
