RVCA team 'Solastra' emerged as a “Runner-UP” under the educational building division at the finals of “Solar Decathlon India '2024” held at Infosys Campus, Mysuru on May 18, 2024.

Mr. Sachin Agarwal(10th Sem), has secured “2nd Position” in the “National Student Design Competition (NSDC) 2024” held on 22nd April 2024, organised by the School of Architecture (SOA) of Siddaganga Institute of Technology (SIT), Tumkur.

Ms. Yukthae merged as “1st National Runner-up” under the Interior Design Category at “Transparence 18.0” organised by Saint Gobain and supported by Ethos on March 28, 2024.

Ms. Shivani Goud’s (X Sem)thesis project was recognised as the “Best Studio Project” at the South regional rounds in Architecture Category at India’s Biggest student design competition “Transparence 18.0” held on March 28, 2024. The competition is sponsored by leading glass manufacturing company M/s. Saint-Gobain.

Ms. Ranjitha won the "Green Innovation Award" at the national finale of "AsiaYoung Designer Awards 2023-24" in the Interior Design Category held on February 06, 2024, at Chennai, sponsored by M/s. Nippon Paint India.

Ms. Akruti Shah won the "Silver Winner Award" at the national finale of "AsiaYoung Designer Awards 2023-24" in the Interior Design Category held on February 06, 2024, at Chennai, sponsored by M/s. Nippon Paint India.

Ms. Eromitha Ramesh won the "Gold Winner Award" at the national finale of "AsiaYoung Designer Awards 2023-24" in the Architecture Category held on February 06, 2024, at Chennai, sponsored by M/s. Nippon Paint India.

RVCA Team “Spantastic “consisting of 8th sem students - Aniruddh, Naman and Saketh won the “Stickspan Bridge Design Challenge” with a cash prize of Rs. 8000/-, held at IISc Bengaluru on February 24, 2024. There were 50+ teams from Civil Engg. Depts from various Engg Colleges, RVCA was the only architecture college in the competition.

Ms. Devayani M (1RW17AT021), Won the “Special Mentions” award in the Mango Architecture Competition and received the “Honorary Mention” award with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- at the AYDA Awards 2022(Asia Young Designer Awards) National Finals for her project work “Colonies of Anthropocentric” on January 24, 2023.

Mr. Harsha S M (1RW17AT034) was declared the “Winner” of CoA’s “National Awards for Excellence in Architecture Thesis 2022 & JK AYA Best Architecture Student of the Year Award 2022”, under the category “Architectural Project” at the National Final Jury of the awards programme held on March 31, 2023. The citation to Harsha was given away by the President of COA, Ar. Habib khan.

Ms. Shakshi Sharda (1RW19AT094), was declared as “National Winner” under the Interior Design Category at “Transparence 17.0 National Finale was held on March 17, 2023, promoted by M/s.Saint-Gobain and supported by Ethos

Ms. Sanya Gupta (1RW19AT091), was declared as “National Runner-up 1” under the Interior Design Category at “Transparence 17.0”, National Finale held on March 17, 2023, promoted by M/s. Saint-Gobain supported by Ethos.

Ms. Akruti Shah (1RW19AT006), was declared as “National Runner-up 2” under the Interior Design Category at “Transparence 17.0”, the National Finale held on March 17, 2023, promoted by M/s.Saint-Gobain supported by Ethos.

RVCA Team of faculty & 5th-semester students emerged as Runner Up in the Popular Choice Award, as the culmination of a 5 month-long, International workshop on Housing Design: BEYOND BHK_Rethinking Housing, by Dr. Anupama Kundoo during January 2023.

Team "Green Collars" from RVCA & RV University was declared as “Winner” with a prized amount of Rs. 30,000 under the category "Educational Building" at the Grand Final Jury of “Solar Decathlon India Design Challenge for Net-Zero Future Proof Building 2022-23" during May 28, 2023.

Team RVCA comprising Ms. Preksha Jain (1RW19AT070), Mr. Shashank Manohar (1RW20AT089) & Mr. Pratham Kumar Rathi (1RW20AT073), emerged as “2nd Runner-up” with prize money of Rs. 10000/- at National Design Competition “Envisage 2023: Re-imaging the Necklace Road, Hyderabad” hosted by Vaishnavi School of Architecture & Planning, Hyderabad during July 2023.

Team RVCA comprising of Ms. Ranjitha Bhaskar(1RW19AT077), Mr. Jatin Eklaspur(1RW19AT047) & Ms. Nidhi Rai(1RW19AT062) from 9th sem B.Arch., won the “2nd Prize with prize money of Rs. 50,000/- & a Certificate” at Hosmac Healthcare Architecture Competition 2023 (Archeal)- “5th Edition of Global Architectural Student Competition for designing “Centre for Psychosocial Rehabilitation” during August 2023 conducted by Hosmac India Private Limited

Ms. Nidhi Rai (1RW19AT062), presented a paper & received the “Best Paper Presentation Award” titled “Revitalizing Pacchanady: A Holistic Approach to Sustainable Solid Waste Management and Environmental Rejuvenation” at the International Symposium on Sustainable Waste Management 2023(ISSWM) organised by Dept. of Mech. Engg., Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata during September 22-24, 2023.

Ms. Nidhi Dhiraj (1RW21AT062), presented a research paper titled "A Comparative Study of Religious Significance through Architectural Case Study - A Church and a Temple” at the National Conference on “Trends in Architecture, Built Environment and Urban Spaces” held on October 06, 2023, organized by Faculty of Architecture, PES University.

Mr. Dhruv Ravi Gowda (1RW18AT029) was declared the “Winner” under the “Architectural Projects” category and Ms. Namrata Dewanjee (1RW18AT069) was declared as the winner” under the “Addressing Concerns within Society” category in CoA South Zone 04 competition held on October 13, 2023at DSCA and both qualified for Finale of CoA’s “National Awards for Excellence in Architecture Thesis 2023 & JK AYA Best Architecture Student of the Year Award 2023”.

The citation was given away by the President of COA, Ar. Abhay Purohit.
