Merit Award for first five rank holders enrolled at RVCA This award was instituted in 2022 (INR 5K)  to encourage students who have secured the first five ranks in CET.

AWARD FOR

Excelling in Architectural Design (FEMALE)

Ms. Shreya S Upadhya (1RW18AT103), won the first “Best Female Student for Outstanding Performance in Architectural Design Award” with a cash prize of Rs. 15,000/- and a citation at the award presentation ceremony held on August 12, 2023.

Instituted by Retired Justice Shri. Raja Varadarajulu Raveendran in memory of his daughter Late Revathi Medahal (Alumnus of RVCA) w.e.f. 2022-23. (INR 15k + Citation).

BEST OUTGOING STUDENT (2018-2023)

Ms. Namrata Deewanjee (1RW18AT069), won the first “Best Outgoing Student Award” with a cash prize of Rs. 12,000 and a citation at the award presentation ceremony held on August 12, 2023.

Instituted by M/s. Nanda Group, Bengaluru from w.e.f. 2023-23 (INR 12k + Citation) to identify, acknowledge and encourage the overall performance of the student during the B. Architecture course of 5 yrs.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 5000/- and a certificate of appreciation. In 2023, the awards were presented by Mr. Umar Teekay, Chairman & Managing Director, M/s. Teekay Interior Solutions Pvt., Ltd., Bengaluru in the presence of Chief Guest Ar. Bijoy Ramachandra, Partner, M/s. Hundredhands & Shri. P.S. Nandakumar, Chairman, Governing Council of RVCA on November 29, 2023.

Instituted by M/s. Rathi Associates, Bengaluru w.e.f. 2021-22 for 10 years in fond memory of Late Architect Shri. B.H. Rathi. (INR 50K+Medal+Citation) to identify, acknowledge and encourage the most promising budding architects of the country who have represented their innovative ideas, and thinking process through their thesis representation at B. Arch. level. 

  • Ms. Dia Vohra (1RW17AT072), won the second “Ar. B.H. Rathi Best Thesis Award 2023” with winning trophy, medal & cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- for her thesis titled “Uggaha | triggers of change” at the award presentation ceremony held on August 12, 2023.
  • Mr. Rakshith H.N. (1RW17AT072), won the first “Ar. B.H. Rathi Best Thesis Award 2022” with winning trophy, medal & cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- for his thesis titled “Uggaha | triggers of change” on June 23, 2022.
