Ajinkya Kanitkar is an architect and urban planner. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur (2010-15) and a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal (2018-20). He worked at Architects United, Pune during 2015-17 on various projects such as Industrial, Hospital, Commercial, Residential, Interior and Space Design. He also worked as a lecturer for one academic year at NIT, Hamirpur before joining post-graduation in 2018. He worked at AIILSG, Mumbai as a research associate on a performance assessment project guiding 30+ ULBs including cantonment boards for service level benchmarking of urban WASH sector documentation in 2020-21. His research interests are urban studies including community, infrastructure and creative-cultural economy.
