Akanksha Ruchi Horo is an architect and urban designer. She did her B.Arch from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi and her MArch (Urban Design) from School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal. She is currently pursuing PhD in Architecture from School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada with a topic of interest as Place Attachment in Urban Informal Settlements: Case of Tier I Indian cities. Throughout her work experience, she has taught undergraduate subjects and postgraduate subjects for Master of Urban Design program. She has presented several research papers at national and international conferences and co-edited book and a magazine.

Area of interest: Resilient Communities, Urban Interfaces, Place Attachment, Informal Settlements
