B. Arch. from JNAFA University, Hyderabad; M. Tech. (Urban and Regional Planning) from Institute of Development Studies, University of Mysore; PhD from Department of Architecture, NIT Tiruchirappalli.

Dr. G Saisanath is an Architect-Planner, Academician, and Researcher.

After gaining a deep experience of almost a decade in project coordination and design development spanning across large scale institutional campuses and small scale applications of design intensive alternative building construction methods, he joined academics as Assistant Professor at SPA Vijayawada.

Curious about the confluence of industry, academia, and scholarly pursuits, he enrolled as a full-time research scholar, exploring the phenomenon of walling in contemporary public spaces, as part of his doctoral studies. Further, he has completed a certificate course on Philosophy and Critical Thinking. He continues to explore the universe of thoughts and data through reading, writing, and teaching, while seamlessly performing core academic and administrative responsibilities.

He has been invited as an expert speaker for a five day workshop on Current Practices and Challenges of Urban Design in India, conducted by Department of Architecture and Planning, NIT Patna. Also, he has delivered special lectures and chaired a session as part of inter-disciplinary research explorations.

Specialization and Interests:

Space-Place-Society, Contemporary theories of Architecture, Post-Occupancy Evaluation of buildings, History, and Photography.
