Prof. Phani Ram Pingali, Professor of Architecture at RVCA, received a degree in B. Arch from J.N.T.U., Hyderabad (1986), M.S. Arch from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, USA (1989), PG Dip in Operations Management from AIMA, New Delhi (2007). He has over 35 years’ experience as a Consultant Architect across the USA, the Middle East and India. His focus towards the practice of architecture is based on a strong Client-Context-Cost nexus towards achieving rational design, methods, and materials of construction. He has about 23 years of teaching experience. He was a Teaching Assistant at Louisiana State University, and taught at Bangalore Institute of Technology and RVCE, Bangalore. Currently, he teaches Building Construction Technology at RVCA. His research interests are in the areas of Marketing and real estate markets in India.
