The Catch the Rain-2024 Campaign is a nationwide initiative launched by the Indian government’s Ministry of Jal Shakti. It aims to promote rainwater harvesting and other water conservation practices at the community level.
Under the umbrella ‘National service scheme (NSS) unit “ of R V College of Architecture (RVCA), RVCA conducted Catch the rain-2024 camp; for land water management awareness program which was held on 29.08.2024 in the doddaladamara area in Tavarekere,UttrahalliHobli, Bengaluru.In this event RVCA, 50 volunteers and many faculties participated from NSS unit.
National service scheme (NSS) unit of R V College of Architecture, celebrated National Space Day-2024, As per reference of VTU circular conducting paper model making computation on given theme “Touching lives while touching the moon India’s space saga” held on 22.08.2024 at RV college of architecture,Bengaluru. In this event our college faculties and more than 100 students participated.
Was conducted on the 22nd August 2024 organized by the NSS unit of RVCA and RVCA Rotaract Club in association with Rotary TTK Blood Bank. At the end 80 units of blood was collected and donated to the Rotary TTK blood bank. Our faculty, staff and students participated generously.
The NSS unit of RV College of Architecture organized a Road Safety Awareness Rally Covering a 4 km route from the RV college of architecture to Turahalli Forest end. Thoroughly aimed at promoting road safety, was supported by the Bangalore Thalaghattapura TrafficPolice, who assisted in spreading important traffic safety messages.
The event was inaugurated by the Principal Dr. O P Bawane and Vice Principal Dr. Rakesh K S emphasizing the significance of safe road practices.
Students participated actively in the rally, carrying placards and engaging with the public to raise awareness. This initiative highlighted the college & commitment to social responsibility and road safety education.
