From a Legacy of 8+ Decades

Committed towards the dissemination of knowledge for the last 8 decades, we at RV Educational Institutions (RVEI) are dedicated to imparting quality education in all disciplines.

Our purpose of providing education at a higher scale was etched in stone in 1940 with the inception of the RV Higher Primary School by our founder, the late M.C. Sivananda Sarma.

Today, our educational ecosystem consists of 24+ institutions which are supported by more than 2,200 staff members with nearly 23,500 students. We cover the educational needs of students from kindergarten to postgraduate, across all disciplines – from social sciences and humanities to natural sciences.

Our Story So Far

1992

Established in the year 1992, RV College of Architecture (RVCA) initially started as a Department of Architecture in RV College of Engineering (RVCE), Bengaluru.

1995

In 1995, the department shifted to an independent new building within the RVCE campus.

2009

The department obtained autonomy and was renamed to RV School of Architecture, which was also approved by the Council of Architecture (COA), India.

2014

In 2014, the college shifted to a new campus, with affiliation to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Karnataka.

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU)  Is a collegiate public state university located in Belagavi, Karnataka established by the Government of Karnataka in 1998. Named after the legendary technocrat Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, the University is one of the largest Technological Universities in India with 26 years of Tradition of excellence in Engineering & Technical Education, Research and Innovations.
