RVCA invites applications for full time and visiting faculty as Professors, Associate and Assistant Professors for teaching Theory and History of Architecture, Construction Management, Planning, services, practice, structural engineering (from candidates having requisite qualification/ experience as per COA guidelines).
Candidates applying for the post of Professor should preferably have over 15 years’ experience in teaching / research / practice, those applying for the post of Associate Professor should preferably have over 10 years’ experience.
Relaxation in teaching experience may be considered for candidates having at least 3 years’ experience after Ph.D. or equivalent.
It is mandatory to have a valid COA registration (only Candidates registered with the Council of Architecture (COA) under the provisions of the Architects Act, 1972 shall be eligible for the above post). The educational qualifications of the candidates shall be from UGC recognized universities only.
Fresh graduates who have pursued B.Arch at graduation level and Masters in Urban Design/Planning / Architecture / Construction Management / Building Engineering can also apply.
Practicing architects having extensive industry experience (over 15 years) and only B.Arch degree can also forward their applications. RVCA encourages its faculty members to keep themselves abreast of the latest techniques and development and to involve in professional practice, including research.
