Master of Architecture (M.Arch.)
Indian cities are undergoing rapid growth and transformation, posing new challenges and opportunities for urbanists in reading and theorising the city. We at RVCA are constantly seeking new approaches to engage with the discipline of Urban Design. The classrooms and studios provide vibrant discursive spaces for faculty and students to debate and manifest varied visions for livable and inclusive Indian cities.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
- Introducing multidimensional aspects of urbanism to facilitate nuanced readings and interpretations of the urban milieu in India.
- Supporting research and instilling academic rigour in the study, critique and design of urban environs.
- Promoting a hands-on approach to understanding and engaging with urban issues.
- Mentoring students to become skilled, conscientious and ethical professionals.
